The Education and Research Support Center for Manufacturing was founded as a research facility of the Oyama National College of Technology. The purpose of the Center is to support the staff’s various activities on their research and education.

The first- to third-year students of the Department of the Mechanical Engineering and the second-year students of the Department of the Electronic Control Engineering learn how to use mechanical tools correctly and safely. They also practice the advanced machining using CNC machine tool.
Moreover, the Center offers assistance to make any equipment for researches and extracurricular activities, such as Robo-con, Eco-cars (cars depending on less fuel) and so on.
